The finished bag

Well, here is the finished knit bag after a long time on needles. Started this project early last year (maybe earlier?) and finished it last week. Either side can be the 'outside' and both have advantages. The purl outside allow the corners to stand up,

yet the knit side does look better in my opinion;

it allows the flecks of colour in the yarn to show.

I've made a bag like this for my Nan a few years back and enjoyed it, so made another for myself, slightly longer this time........ now....... what to use it for.........

A warm Saturday today, 33c. Here's a picture of my son Riley at the beach taken in November last year, it was a bit cooler then :) There's something very poetic and moving about this pic to me.

I'd like to start off with a quick video of a flash of lightning. This is quite amazing to me as it shows just how close lightning can be!
