The finished bag

Well, here is the finished knit bag after a long time on needles. Started this project early last year (maybe earlier?) and finished it last week. Either side can be the 'outside' and both have advantages. The purl outside allow the corners to stand up,
yet the knit side does look better in my opinion;
it allows the flecks of colour in the yarn to show.
I've made a bag like this for my Nan a few years back and enjoyed it, so made another for myself, slightly longer this time........ now....... what to use it for.........

Very nice and creative. Good application of and idea. Now what to use it for... well, the minute I saw it Wine tote came to mind. You know those fancy gift bags that some buy when giving the gift of a bottle of wine. You could use it to carry just about anything that will fit in it. If it is lined you could use it for even more things like knitting needles. You could branch out from this and make so many wonderful bags and carrying devices that the possibilities are just about endless. Hope you take it to the next level, as they the lingo of the day says. - Dg - Oeans1004
